Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₁₄H₁₀N₄, which was prepared by reaction of benzotriazole with 4-(bromomethyl)benzonitrile in alkaline solution, the dihedral angle between the benzotriazole and benzene ring systems is 69.03 (6)°.
