Abstract: In the title compound, C14H10ClN3O4·CH3OH, the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 33.9 (2)°. In the crystal structure, the methanol solvent molecules are linked to the Schiff base molecules through intermolecular N-H
O and O-H
O hydrogen bonds. Molecules are further linked through intermolecular O-H
O and O-H
N hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the b axis.
