J.-F. Lu, S.-T. Min, X.-H. Ji and Z.-H. Dang

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C14H11ClN2O2·H2O, contains a Schiff base molecule and a water molecule of crystallization. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 27.3 (4)°. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked into a two-dimensional network parallel to the bc plane by intermolecular O-H...O and N-H...O hydrogen bonds involving the water molecules.
