4,4'-(Propane-1,3-diyl)dipiperidinium sulfate monohydrate

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₃H₂₈N₂²⁺·SO₄^2-·H₂O, extensive hydrogen-bonding interactions between the protonated 4,4'-(propane-1,3-diyl)dipiperidinium ions, the sulfate anions and the water molecules lead to a three-dimensional pillared and layered structure with the 4,4'-(propane-1,3-diyl)dipiperidinium ions acting as the pillars.
