4-Chloro-N'-(5-chloro-2-hydroxybenzylidene)benzohydrazide

Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₄H₁₀Cl₂N₂O₂, displays a trans configuration with respect to the C=N double bond and has an intramolecular O-HN hydrogen bond. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 1.4 (2)°. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked through intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the a direction.
