4N1,N12,N15,N26)nickel(II)]-
-terephthalato-
2O1:O4]Abstract: In the title compound, [Ni(C8H4O4)(C36H44N4O4)]n, the NiII atom is coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry by the four N atoms of the 1,12,15,26-tetraaza-5,8,19,22-tetra-oxa-3,4:9,10:17,18:23,24-tetrabenzocyclooctacosane ligand and two O atoms from the terephthalate dianions. The NiII atoms, which lie on inversion centres, are linked via terephthalate ligands to form a chain structure along [101]. The structure is stabilized by three intramolecular and one intermolecular N-H
O hydrogen bonds.
