Bis(4-aminobenzoato-O)triphenylantimony(V)

Abstract: The structure of the title compound, [Sb(C₆H₅)₃(C₇H₆NO₂)₂], contains two independent molecules of similar configuration. The Sb atoms exhibit a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry with the O atoms of two carboxylate groups in the axial positions and the C atoms of the phenyl groups in the equatorial positions. In the crystal structure, molecules are connected by intermolecular N-HO and N-HN hydrogen-bonding interactions forming a chain structure along [100].
