Abstract: The title compound, C₁₅H₁₂N₂O, is a derivative of 4-(aminomethyl)benzonitrile, an important pestcide intermediate. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked via intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds, forming infinite chains.
