Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C20H11ClN2O3, the pyran ring adopts a flattened-boat conformation. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N-H
N and N-H
O hydrogen bonds generate edge-fused R22(12) and R22(14) ring motifs; the hydrogen-bonded motifs are linked to each other, forming a three-dimensional network. A
-
contact [centroid-to-centroid distance = 3.879 (3) Å] between the chlorophenyl rings may further stabilize the structure.
