2-Aminobenzimidazolium hydrogen sulfate

Abstract: In the title salt, C₇H₈N₃⁺·HSO₄^-, the benzimdazole ring system is planar [mean deviation 0.0086 (1) Å]. In the crystal, N-HO and O-HO hydrogen-bond interactions give rise to a layer motif.
