O)tetraphenylantimony(V)Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Sb(C6H5)4(NO3)], contains two crystallographically independent molecules. Each Sb atom exhibits a slightly distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry, with the O atom in the apical site. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular C-H
O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.
