Abstract: The title compound, C19H14ClFN2O3, was prepared by the reaction of ethyl (Z)-3-amino-2-cyano-3-(4-fluorophenyl)acrylate and 4-chlorobenzoyl chloride. The dihedral angle between the chlorobenzene and fluorobenzene rings is 66.18 (19)°. In addition to an intramolecular N-H
O hydrogen bond, there are intermolecular C-H
O and C-H
N hydrogen bonding interactions, which stabilize the crystal structure.
