2-pyridinium-4-carboxylato-2O:O')] bis(perchlorate) monohydrate]Abstract: In the title compound, {[Nd(NO3)(C6H5NO2)2(H2O)3](ClO4)2·H2O}n, the NdIII atom is nine-coordinated by four O atoms from four pyridinium-4-carboxylate ligands, two O atoms from a chelating nitrate anion and three water molecules in a distorted tricapped trigonal-prismatic coordination geometry. Adjacent Nd atoms are linked by the bidentate pyridinium-4-carboxylate ligands into a chain running along the b axis. The chains are further connected by O-H
O and N-HO hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network.
