Bis(triphenylphosphine-[kappa]P)(tropolonato-[kappa]2O,O')silver(I) dichloromethane solvate

G. Steyl and T. N. Hill

Abstract: The title compound, [Ag(C7H5O2)(C18H15P)2]·CH2Cl2, crystallizes with a distorted tetrahedral geometry about the AgI atom, defined by two O atoms from one tropolonate ligand and two P atoms from two triphenylphosphine ligands. It is an example of a new type of tropolone derivative that has not been characterized via solid-state methods.
