Bis(triphenylphosphine-P)(tropolonato-²O,O')silver(I) dichloromethane solvate

Abstract: The title compound, [Ag(C₇H₅O₂)(C₁₈H₁₅P)₂]·CH₂Cl₂, crystallizes with a distorted tetrahedral geometry about the Ag^I atom, defined by two O atoms from one tropolonate ligand and two P atoms from two triphenylphosphine ligands. It is an example of a new type of tropolone derivative that has not been characterized via solid-state methods.
