2N,O)iron(II)Abstract: The FeII atom in the title complex, [Fe(C6H4NO2)2(H2O)2], exists in a distorted octahedral coordination geometry defined by two O and two N atoms from two pyridine-2-carboxylate ligands and two O atoms of two water molecules. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked into a three-dimensional framework by O-H
O hydrogen bonds.
