Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₆H₆N₂O₂S, lies on a crystallographic mirror plane with the methylene H atoms related by mirror symmetry. In the crystal packing, molecules are linked into layers by intermolecular O-HN and C-HO hydrogen bonds.
