2-Benzyloxy-1-naphthaldehyde

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₈H₁₄O₂, the dihedral angle between the phenyl and naphthyl ring systems is 21.8 (3)°. The packing of molecules in the crystal structure is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds.
