(E,E)-6,6'-Dimethoxy-2,2'-[o-phenylenebis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol

Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₂H₂₀N₂O₄, the central benzene ring forms dihedral angles of 3.2 (2) and 61.1 (1)° with the two outer substituted benzene rings. Intramolecular O-HN hydrogen bonds are formed by both hydroxyl groups.
