Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₁₆H₁₅NO₅, the aromatic rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 74.89 (3)°. Intramolecular C-HO interactions result in the formation of a seven-membered ring. In the crystal structure, weak intermolecular C-HO interactions link the molecules into chains along the b axis.
