catena-Poly[[(2,2'-bipyridine-²N,N')cobalt(II)]--oxalato-⁴O¹,O²:O^1',O^2']

Abstract: In the one-dimensional title coordination polymer, [Co(C₂O₄)(C₁₀H₈N₂)]_n, the Co^II atom is coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry by two N atoms from one 2,2'-bipyridine ligand and four O atoms belonging to two chelating oxalate ligands. Two neighboring Co centers are bridged by an oxalate ligand, forming a one-dimensional chain structure.
