Abstract: In the solid state, the structure of the title compound, C16H18N4O2, is stabilized by intermolecular N-H
O and O-H
O hydrogen bonds. These hydrogen bonds arrange the molecules into a double-layer supramolecular structure. The molecular conformation is is consolidated by an intramolecular N-H
N hydrogen bond. The dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 8.01 (10)°
