(2,2'-Bipyridine)(2-{1-[2-(dimethylamino)ethylimino]ethyl}-4-methoxyphenolato)copper(II) perchlorate

Abstract: The Cu atom of the title complex, [Cu(C₁₃H₁₉N₂O₂)(C₁₀H₈N₂)]ClO₄, has a distorted square-pyramidal geometry with all three of the donor atoms from the N,N',O-tridentate Schiff base ligand in the equatorial positions and the bipyridine N atoms in an equatorial-axial binding mode. The Cu atom is 0.1801 (11) Å above the N₃O mean basal plane.
