2-Methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolin-6-yl N-phenylcarbamate

Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₁₇H₁₈N₂O₂, the piperidine ring adopts a half-chair form. The two benzene rings are individually planar and make a dihedral angle of 53.90°. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N-HN hydrogen bonds and - stacking interactions (centroid-centroid distance = 3.962 Å).
