N3)-1H-tetrazolato-
N1]zinc(II)Abstract: In the title complex, [Zn(C4H3N6)2(H2O)2], the metal centre lies on an inversion centre and displays a distorted octahedral ZnN4O2 coordination geometry. The organic ligand is not planar; the dihedral angle between the imidazole and tetrazole rings is 8.39 (9)°. An extended network of intermolecular N-H
N and O-H
N hydrogen bonds stabilizes the crystal structure.
