Abstract: The title compound, C12H11N3O2, adopts an E or trans configuration with respect to the C=N bond. There is an intramolecular O-H
N hydrogen bond involving the hydroxyl H atom and an N atom of the hydrazine group. In the crystal structure, molecules are connected via N-H
O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.
