(Ethanol-O)[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)quinoline-4-carboxylato-O]triphenyltin(IV)

Abstract: The Sn atom in the title molecule, [Sn(C₆H₅)₃(C₁₆H₁₀NO₃)(C₂H₆O)], shows a trans-C₃SnO₂ trigonal bipyramidal coordination. Adjacent molecules are linked by O-HO and O-HN hydrogen bonds into a two-dimensional array parallel to (100). The ethanol ligand is disordered, with two sites of equal occupancy being resolved for the ethyl group.
