N-(3-Bromophenyl)acetamide

Abstract: The conformation of the N-H bond in the structure of the title compound, C₈H₈BrNO, is anti to the C=O bond and to the meta-bromo substituent of the aromatic ring in both independent molecules comprising the asymmetric unit. Molecules are linked through N-HO hydrogen bonding into supramolecular chains with a twisted topology.
