5-(2-Fluoro-4-nitrophenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-amine

Abstract: The title compound, C₈H₅FN₄O₂S, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-fluoro-4-nitrobenzoic acid and thiosemicarbazide. The dihedral angle between the thiadiazole and benzene rings is 27.1 (2)°. In the crystal, intermolecular N-HN and C-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules.
