1,2-Dibenzoylhydrazine-dimethylformamide (3/1)

Abstract: The title compound, 3C₁₄H₁₂N₂O₂·C₃H₇NO, was synthesized by reaction of benzoyl chloride with hydrazine hydrate under microwave irradition. The asymmetric unit comprises three 1,2-dibenzoylhydrazine molecules and one dimethylformamide molecule. The 1,2-dibenzoylhydrazine molecules are linked by pairs of N-HO hydrogen bonds into chains propagating along [010].
