4-Methyl-N-phenylbenzenesulfonamide

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₃H₁₃NO₂S, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 68.4 (1)°. In the crystal, the molecules are linked into inversion dimers by pairs of N-HO hydrogen bonds. The unit cell of this compound was reported previously [Oh et al. (1985). Chung. Kwa. Yong. (Chung. J. Sci.), 12, 67] but no atomic coordinates were established in the earlier study.
