The ansa-bridged cyclopentadienyl titanium complex [{⁵-C₅Me₄CH₂-C(NMe₂)=N}TiCl₂]

Abstract: The title complex, dichlorido[N,N-dimethyl-2-(⁵-tetramethylcyclopentadienyl)acetamidinido-N']titanium(IV), [Ti(C₁₃H₂₀N₂)Cl₂], exhibits an unusual ansa-bridged conformation. The cyclopentadienyl ring and the mean plane of the Ti-N=C-C-C fragment form a dihedral angle of 88.08 (11)°.
