2-[(E)-(2-Aminophenyl)iminomethyl]-5-(dimethylamino)phenol

Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₇H₂₁N₃O, displays a trans configuration with respect to the C=N double bond. The dihedral angle between the planes of the two benzene rings is 50.96 (11)° and a strong intramolecular O-HN hydrogen bond is present. An intermolecular N-HO hydrogen-bonding interaction stabilizes the crystal structure.
