Oxonium 2-carboxy-3-(2-furyl)acrylate

Abstract: In the title compound, H₃O⁺·C₈H₅O₅^-, neighbouring cations and anions are linked by O-HO hydrogen bonds, forming a one-dimensional chain framework along [001]. The crystal structure is further stabilized by - interactions, with centroid-centroid distances of 3.734 (3) Å.
