Abstract: In the title compound, [Zn(C₁₅H₁₁NO₃)(H₂O)₂]·C₂H₆OS, the Zn(II) ion is coordinated by two O atoms and one N atom of the deprotonated chelate ligand and two water molecules in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal coordination environment. A linear supramolecular structure built from O-HO hydrogen bonds runs parallel to [100].
