2N',O)[2-(4-chlorobenzoylhydrazono-
2N,O)propionato(2-)-
O]oxidovanadium(V)Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [VO(C7H6ClN2O)(C10H7ClN2O3)], the VV atom is N,O-chelated by the chlorobenzoylhydrazidate anion and O,N,O'-chelated by the (chlorobenzoylhydrazono)propionate dianion. The distorted octahedral trans-N2O4 coordination geometry is completed by the vanadyl O atom. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N-H
O hydrogen bonds into a linear chain parallel to [010].
