(4-Chlorobenzohydrazidato-²N',O)[2-(4-chlorobenzoylhydrazono-²N,O)propionato(2-)-O]oxidovanadium(V)

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [VO(C₇H₆ClN₂O)(C₁₀H₇ClN₂O₃)], the V^V atom is N,O-chelated by the chlorobenzoylhydrazidate anion and O,N,O'-chelated by the (chlorobenzoylhydrazono)propionate dianion. The distorted octahedral trans-N₂O₄ coordination geometry is completed by the vanadyl O atom. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N-HO hydrogen bonds into a linear chain parallel to [010].
