Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Sn(C₇H₆Cl)₂Cl₂(C₁₂H₈N₂)], the Sn^IV atom is chelated by the N-heterocycle and the metal atom exists in a trans-C₂SnCl₂N₂ distorted octahedral coordination environment.
