3-pyridine-2,3-dicarboxylato)dimanganese(II)] monohydrate]Abstract: The title compound, {[Mn2(C7H3NO4)2(C2H5OH)(H2O)2]·H2O}n, is a three-dimensional polymer. There are two symmetry-independent MnII centres with different coordination environments: one MnII atom is coordinated by four O atoms from four ligands and two N atoms from two ligands, the other MnII atom is coordinated by three O atoms from two ligands, two water O atoms and the O atom of an ethanol molecule. The crystal structure is stabilized by O-H
O hydrogen bonds.
