Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₁₂H₆Br₂S₃, the molecules are planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.06 Å). Consecutive molecules do not stack in a planar fashion. There is an angle of 81.7 (12)° between the planes of the closest molecules.
