Abstract: The title compound, C₁₉H₂₁ClN₆O₄, is a 1:2 adduct of p-chlorobenzaldehyde and uracil. It crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The two uracil units in the same molecule are connected by a pair of strong N-HO hydrogen bonds. The packing is stabilized by N-HO, C-HO and C-HN interactions.
