Abstract: In the title compound, [Co(C₁₃H₁₆NOSe₂)₂]·CH₃CN, the Co^II atom is four-coordinated by two N,O-bidentate Schiff base ligands, resulting in a distorted tetrahedral coordination for the metal ion.
