trans-4,5-Dihydroxy-1,3-diphenylimidazolidine-2-thione

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₅H₁₄N₂O₂S, the five-membered ring adopts an envelope conformation and the two hydroxy groups lie on opposite sides of the ring. The six-membered rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 22.63 (3)°. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-HS and O-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a two-dimensional network.
