Abstract: The title compound, C₂₅H₃₈O₅, was formed by the reaction of dimethyl 2-butylmalonate and 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-[(dimethylamino)methyl]phenol. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked by intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds into chains along [010].
