1,4-Bis(2-pyridylmethoxy)benzene

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₈H₁₆N₂O₂, the phenylene ring is located on inversion center. The pyridyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 39.9 (1)° with the phenylene ring. In the crystal, adjacent molecules are linked by intermolecular C-HN hydrogen bonds, forming a linear chain along the a axis.
