2-(3-Oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzothiazin-4-yl)acetic acid monohydrate

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₀H₉NO₃S·H₂O, the thiomorpholine ring exists in a conformation intermediate between twist-boat and half-chair. An intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bond links the acid and water molecules together. In the crystal packing, intermolecular O-HO and C-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a three-dimensional network.
