-oxalato] sesquihydrate]Abstract: In the title compound, {[Mn(C2O4)(C8H7N3)]·1.5H2O}n, the MnII ion is chelated by two O,O'-bidentate oxalate ions and an N,N'-bidentate 3-(2-pyridyl)pyrazole molecule, resulting in a distorted cis-MnN2O4 octahedral geometry for the metal ion. The bridging oxalate ions generate wave-like polymeric chains propagating in [001]. The packing is consolidated by N-H
O and O-H
O hydrogen bonds. One of the water O atoms lies on a crystallographic twofold axis.
