2O1:O2]Abstract: In the title polymeric coordination compound, [Sn(C6H5)3(C9H8N3O3)]n, the SnIV atom is in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry, being coordinated by two O atoms from two 2-(2-picolinoylhydrazono)propanoate ligands and three phenyl groups. Adjacent Sn atoms are bridged by the 2-(2-picolinoylhydrazono)propanoate ligand through one carbonyl O atom and one carboxylate O atom, forming a chain structure propagating parallel to [100]. An intramolecular N-H
O hydrogen bond is observed.
