Abstract: The title dinuclear copper(I) complex, {[Cu₂(C₂H₃N)(C₁₂H₁₀N₂)(C₂₅H₂₂P₂)₂](BF₄)₂}_n, contains 1,2-di-4-pyridylethene, bis(diphenylphosphino)methane and acetonitrile ligands. The two Cu atoms, one with an N₂P₂ ligand set and the other with an NP₂ ligand set, are bridged by two bis(diphenylphosphino)methane ligands, forming an eight-membered ring.
