O2)zinc(II)Abstract: The metal atom in the title compound, [Zn(C5H4NO4S)2(H2O)4], lies on a center of inversion and is linked to the anionic ligand through the carbonyl O atom. In the crystal structure, the 2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-5-sulfonate ligand interacts with other molecules through N-H
O and O-H
O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network structure.
