Abstract: The phenyl ring of the title compound, C₁₂H₁₀N₄S, a purine derivative, is oriented at a dihedral angle of 76.65 (6)° with respect to the purine ring system. An intermolecular N-HN hydrogen bonds stabilizes the crystal structure.
