Ethyl 2,6-dichloro-4-phenylquinoline-3-carboxylate

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₈H₁₃Cl₂NO₂, the quinoline ring system is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation 0.009 Å), and the phenyl and carboxylate planes are twisted away from it by 59.2 (1) and 65.9 (2)°, respectively.
